'Fiscally conservative' Ladner is ex-hippie
VANCOUVER — Peter Ladner, the NPA councillor who knocked off Sam Sullivan Sunday for the party's mayoral nomination, is a fit 59-year old who bikes, runs, swims, kayaks and snowboards with aplomb.
He dresses well, runs a weekly business publication and is pleased to describe himself as a “fiscally conservative” member of the generally right-wing NPA.
