A Louvre you'll have time to love
QUEBEC When Quebec's Musée national des beaux-arts began negotiations with the Louvre for a major loan to mark Quebec City's 400th anniversary, the Canadians knew better than to ask for the Mona Lisa.
"There are some works that should never travel," said curator Line Ouellet, who organized The Louvre in Quebec exhibition for the Musée national. "Among colleagues, there are some works you just don't ask for.
