N.B. parents win partial victory in French immersion case

HALIFAX, TORONTO — New Brunswick parents fighting to preserve early French immersion for their children won a partial court victory yesterday. Mr. Justice Hugh McLellan of the Court of Queen's Bench ruled that the provincial government had not allowed time for proper input on a proposal to cancel the early immersion program, calling its actions "unfair and unreasonable.
