Upper Canada College reverses boarding decision

After months of pushback from alumni, Upper Canada College has abandoned plans to close its boarding school and is calling on donors to support a revamped residential program. The elite all-boys school announced it will adopt a new boarding system "based on smaller units of students and faculty" instead of its two current residences. It also pledged more extracurricular activities, increased interaction with day students and expanded recruitment efforts.
