Military assess damage from Afghan prison break

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan — Canadian soldiers are participating in a massive manhunt for hundreds of pro-Taliban detainees who escaped from a prison that is now a cratered, rubble-filled blast site. They will seek out intelligence about the rebels' whereabouts and pass the information along to Afghan authorities, Canada's top soldier in Afghanistan said Saturday.
