The spirits are restless these days.Until recently, the great hereafter has successfully avoided most attempts by paranormal TV shows to cross over to the other side. The ghost world has so far resisted intrusions from the Amazing Kreskin and The Ghost Whisperer, but this time they have called in the plumbers.
The no-frills series Ghost Hunters (today, Space at 9 p.m.) provides a needed shot of common sense to the field of paranormal television.
