Police issue warning after pedestrian struck while listening to iPod

A woman in her 20s was hit by a streetcar this week while listening to her iPod, prompting police to issue a stern warning to pedestrians who pay more attention to tunes than traffic. She had just stepped off a southbound streetcar when another streetcar coming northbound pulled up and rang its warning bells.
