  1. J. D. from St. Catharines, ON, Canada writes: I must be missing something, here. How can someone capable of making the most pathetic caricatures of world figures (half-naked, dancing Presidents and Prime Ministers seems like something a high-school drama class would think is 'satirical') also lay claim to the mantle of Voltaire?

François-Marie Arouet would quickly have pointed out how vapid such things are, and would also have noted that he never had to stoop to exaggerations and ad hominem attacks to bring his 'infamous' enemies low.
  2. Mikey Gault from Licking Angelina Jolie's High Heels, Canada writes: I share the sentiments of JD.

This performance sounds more like vaudeville than anything approaching satire. Its not daring when an 'artist' takes cracks at Bush and other right wing politicians. Thats the safest thing imaginable. Now if he took a crack at Mandela, that would be daring. Its not going to happen though.
  3. Robert Kennedy from Vancouver, Canada writes: Cornball drivel will never lose its appeal, because dummies like to feel smart. If the old philosophe was alive today, he would not write satire, he would simply call for war criminals like Bush and Blair to be brought to justice. In fact, he would write and speak out like Harold Pinter.
