Lack of cancer test costs Ontario millions

Some Canadian patients are needlessly being sent to the United States to receive one of the world's most costly cancer drugs, largely because a test that can reveal whether the medicine would be futile is unavailable in this country. The Ontario government has spent tens of millions of dollars on purchasing the drug, cetuximab, at U.S.
