Three dead as car veers into Ontario lake
Three people are dead, and another reportedly in hospital, after a car veered off a bridge and into Lake Joseph in the Muskoka region north of Toronto.
The accident occurred just before 7 p.m near Minett, about 40 kilometres northwest of Bracebridge. Peninsula Road, which is one of the few highways connecting towns in the area, was closed in both directions after the crash.
Police believe that alcohol may have been a factor.
