Canadian engineer kidnapped by armed men in Colombia
BOGOTA, Colombia — A Canadian electrical engineer and a Colombian man have been kidnapped by armed men in rural Colombia.
Col. Ruben Alzate says 46-year-old Thomas Orland MacLean and 48-year-old Jesus Salvador Aristizabal were intercepted by two gunmen as they travelled on a highway near Tulua, a town 240 kilometres southwest of the capital, Bogota.
