  1. Hap Stokes from Canada writes: The BJ's from Tlustyland were lucky tonight.
After the Shakey fans put on their rally caps in bottom 9th
Figured Blow J's were toast again but alas
They lucked a DP with none out and the Angels just nailing Mr Ball.
And all those great Shakey folks left for the 405 and home

My Red Sox also lost tonight 2-1 to the Yankees and most American headlines say things like "Yankees manage to hold off Sox" or words to that effect...

Toronto wins once in awhile and almost invariably the G&M reports that the "Jays are back on track."

    What spin?

Do the Blow Jays have any other players other than Halladay, I wonder.

    Go Sox!
  3. Hap Stokes from Canada writes: Hi Bookend
Yeah saw the last few innings of that game too.
I thought the invincible Riveria looked rather ordinary last nite.
He was 'tagged' in most unlike Riveria manner in the 9th huh?

Once was called in as an Emergency referee for Jr B game.
Have never belly-ached about officials ever after that disaster.

That said; what did you think of the calls on Riveria's last 2 SO's?
Two of his set-up strikes looked like they landed in New Jersey.
    STRIKEeee TWO--Waaat?
B4 that STRIKEeeee TWO also--Holy shiite Bookend
EYE saw Riveria get a few 'Lucky Calls'.

Suspect the Blow J's are trying to win the Tavares Lottery too.
God just for ONCE, I wish Toronto could win something, any something, any sport. Even looks like the Argos are bums this yr too.
  4. SY GIL from TO, Canada writes: It's about time Wells and Rios did something for the mega millions they are raking in. It's disgusting and pathetic to watch these guys leave runners on base. Like JFJ, JP has made a lot of bad decisions. He's looking for his 3rd shortstop this season. When is he ever going to get it right. I see a lot of similarities between the Jays and the TML.
