    Too true.

Go Cubbies (since my Jays are long, long out of it)!!!
  5. g f from Thornhill, Canada writes: Harden, Johnson (not a Canadian) & All-Star Ryan Dempster, John S.

Besides, once the Cubs break their century drought, the freezing of hell will have ended and the Maple Leafs' torment will have an maximum end point of 2067, Canada's bicentennial year (he said hopefully).
  6. Jerome J from Canada writes: if the cubs dont win it all this season, blow it up, and tank the team, everything is lined up, they play in a weak NL, their division is garbage,, and milwaukee is a joke even with CC.
  7. Rick C from Canada writes: You said it Jerome,...It would be a shocker if the Cubs won a playoff game against another division champion!
  8. R Miller from Halifax, Canada writes: Nice to see some Canadian talent on the roster of some MLB teams...

I know that the Jays didn't bring the World Series trophy to Halifax when they won it like the Boston Red Sox did...

But, do the Jays have any Canadian players on their roster ?
  9. Ryan Hickman from Canada writes: I would love to see the Cubs win a title. They've got the personnel to get it done. How great would it be to be in July and have your team going out and getting stronger for the stretch drive....when was the last time the Jays did that? sigh...
  10. Cole H. from Toronto, Canada writes: Yeah, how dare the Blue Jays slight their Haligonian fans by NOT bringing the Championship trophy right to their doorstep in 92-93!??!
How could the Blue Jays NOT have brought the trophy to Moose Jaw SK, Thunder Bay ON, Trail B.C., Okotoks AB, Brandon MB, Longueil QC or to my parents house in small town New Brunswick!!??
Obviously they don't care about their fans!

R Miller, I hope you're able to grasp the sarcasm here.
The Blue Jays are completely awful right now, which I fully admit - but their putrid play pales in comparison to your embarrassing & ongoing crusade to mock them on the G&M website.

You are right Cole THEY DON'T (care about their fans)!
RU still a Herring Choker Cole or have you learned to speak Torontoese now?

Cole is there something funny that says: Big Smoke can't be bothered with the ROC?--Seems to me if they had done that (bring trophy) the fans that cheered them on, maybe would still have those fans cheering for the Blow J's today.-- Instead of booing them. And never watching them play (whatever they call it)

Recapture your Downhome roots pal, go to the Tantramare, look at the high tides on the Fundy. Go for a warm swim on the Shediac Beaches. Go fish the Marimachi and eat some lobsters Cole, drink some Moosehead, play some guitar again. You have to escape that horrid C of U smoky pollution before you lose it totally Cole.

The money ain't worth it fella Downhomer!

I saw Hardin pitch when he was just a kid he doesn't live far from me.

Miller you wouldn't believe the baseball development in the Lower Mainland. This place is a 'Hotspot' of talent. One high pick after another. This place is a scouts paradise.

Many credit Larry Walker, from Maple Ridge with the reason for the high draft choices. He was the first Super Star from Canada and after he won the Triple Crown in the NL with the Rockies, he became a godlike Pied Piper for all his adoring kids to hang out with. Many of Larry's punkers are now in the Bigs themselves.

There is a high caliber teenage league here that has already sent 6/8 to the Bigs and the same amount to Triple A that will soon be in the Bigs, and even more 14/18 yr olds not too far behind.

Monkey see, monkey do I reckon.
