    Euros are flakes.

    No wonder they like Obama.

You just don't get inciteful political commentary like this anywhere else.
    Euros drink merlot.
    Flakes drink merlot.

It's a match made in heaven.
  2. John Smith from Ottawa, Canada writes: "FLIP-FLOP WORLD TOUR 2008" - Those lucky Europeans get to see BHO do his famous shuffle from the left to the centre of the stage, while singing his hits.

    1) I will opt out of NAFTA vs. NAFTA is working
    2) I will withdraw all troops from Iraq in 18 months vs. I will withdraw troop according to when the Generals say.
    3) I am against FISA vs. I voted for FISA
    4) I support a ban on guns in Washington, DC vs. I support the Supreme Court ruling stating the DC gun ban was unconstitutional.

    Where can I buy a t-shirt?
  3. an astute commenter from Canada writes: Never has so much ink been spilled about a man who deserves it so little.
  4. Jason Cooper from Ottawa, Canada writes: What a ridiculous stunt. Why does an American presidential candiadate need to go to Europe to campaign? Completely inappropriate.
  5. Rollo T from Belgium writes: I'm wondering about the ethics of fundraising outside the USA, and accepting donations from non-americans.
  6. Tom Charles from Canada writes: Do people still say FLIP FLOP? or is it just hypocritical conservative hacks?
  7. Murphy Red from Jonesville, Canada writes: Why does an American politcian need to campaign in Europe? I would have thought that fund raising outside of America would be illegal.

But it is Obama and yes he is the biggest flip flopper of all time....
  8. Mark H from Columbus, IN, United States writes: Someone needs to tell Obama that he's not President yet. I swear, he think's he's JFK, who was the last Democratic nominee to pull this kind of stunt.
  9. Pat Walsh from Pantego, United States writes: He seems to be watching a tennis match when he speechifies because of his teleprompter. He is forever turning his head from left to right.
  10. Shirley Jackson from Oliver, BC, Canada writes: I bet the writer is wrong. The crowds that greet Obama will be mostly Americans who prefer to live in Europe. It's called "Voting with your feet". Their candidate is "None of the above". Their issues are double taxation and the dollar. I plan to vote with my feet and join them in Europe. American politicians are deluded. We will lead the world, they say. You can't be the leader if nobody will follow you.
  11. Dr Demento from Canada writes: I don't believe many Americans understand how low their country's esteem has fallen over the past 7 years. Sure foreigners laughed over the shenanigans that Clinton was involved in in the Oval office, but he didn't offend traditional US allies like Bush did with his "you're either with us or you're with the terrorists" rhetoric, and he didn't destroy the US (and world) economy like Bush has done.

Smarten up and change things . . .
  12. E. Biggs from Canada writes: Dr. Change to what?

He is not calling for a tighter immigration policy and border control.

He is now calling for more troops in AF and calling on Europe to send more.

He is now calling on more and tighter trade controls.

He says he wants to renegotiate NAFTA.

Could you or anybody tell me how this is a change for the better?

The Europeans have no clue about what is going on.

  13. David Rooney from Maui, United States writes: MEMO: Not ALL Americans are this gullible.
MEMO: The weeds are wickedly rooted in CONGRESS folks.

Hence this is WHY the rest of the world does not get a vote. You - the gullible globe - believe one man/woman in the White House can make our Congress do THEIR JOB.

Countrywide Mortagage donated MILLIONS of soft money donations to members of Congress. Congress had a bill in 2006 to appoint a regulator to monitor the mortgage market. Countrywide again donated MILLIONS of soft money donations to members of Congress. The bill didn't pass.

Now that both the mortagage and housing market make the Hindenberg disaster look like a fender bender what is Congress doing? Bailout with our money not yours. At least they sold some the crappiest American loans overseas.

All of you non-Americans better enjoy the rock concert now because when the music stops we Americans must FACE THE MUSIC. And what I hear makes me LIVID.

    BTW. Welcome to 1930.
