The new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, features the late Heath Ledger in a performance as the Joker that is earning early Oscar buzz. Though Batman's most famous rival may be the Joker, in the almost 70 years since he was introduced by DC Comics, the Caped Crusader has confronted more than 100 dastardly villains, from Man-Bat to Doodlebug to Humpty Dumpty.
