PALE, Bosnia-Herzegovina The daughter of Radovan Karadzic says family members want their travel restrictions lifted so they can visit the war crimes suspect in a Belgrade jail.
Sonja Karadzic says family members have asked to spend at least a few hours with him. The former Bosnian Serb leader was arrested Monday outside Belgrade after 13 years in hiding.
A Serbian judge has ordered his transfer to the United Nations war crimes tribunal in The Hague to face charges of genocide charges. Karadzic has three days to appeal.
Bosnian police seized family members' passports in January over suspicions that they were helping to hide Mr. Karadzic.
But his daughter told The Associated Press by telephone Tuesday that she's expecting Bosnian authorities to lift the restrictions.
