Slain woman was 'everybody's light'

EDMONTON — After holding a memorial service in Edmonton on Wednesday for Nancy Cooper, the family of the slain 34-year-old woman plans to return to North Carolina Thursday to continue the fight for custody of her two daughters. The Edmonton native was found dead last week about five kilometres from her upscale home in Cary, N.C., two days after she was reported missing on July 12.
