City campaigns to get panhandler banned
VANCOUVER — Run the bad guy out of town.That's the plan in Williams Lake, B.C., where Mayor Scott Nelson is leading a campaign to have a chronic panhandler banned from the city for five years.
"He's a chronic, repeat offender who has problems and is intent on making a community's life a miserable hell," Mr. Nelson said yesterday.
