My wife hates my new tattoo

The questionRecently I was out at a bar with a bunch of old friends. We were having a great time, lots of drinks, the music was good. One of my buddies pointed out that the place had a tattoo parlour in the front room and, on an impulse, I had my kids' names tattooed on my arm. I thought my wife would like it, but she hates it. She says she can't believe I would do something like that without discussing it with her. Now she wants me to have it removed.
