Loblaw slowly turning around

Canada's largest grocer, Loblaw Cos. Ltd., is slowly turning around, but “we are not yet operating as an effective selling organization,” executive chairman Galen G. Weston said Friday.
“Efforts to improve this are under way, and initial results are promising, but further time and effort is required,” Mr. Weston said in a conference call after reporting Loblaw's second-quarter results.
The company reported that second-quarter profit rose 17.
