Saskatchewan union demands unlikely to fade

WINNIPEG — Surging world demand for oil, uranium, fertilizer and grain has pumped new life into Saskatchewan's once-sagging economy, and unionized workers want a piece of the action. The prairie province has been one of the big winners from the commodities boom, as energy companies open up oil sands areas, and grain comes back into favour.
