Time to put criticisms of Beijing aside, 2010 chief says

VANCOUVER — On the eve of Friday's start to the controversy-laden Summer Games in Beijing, Vancouver's Olympic chief said it's time for critics and observers to put the problems aside and concentrate on sport. “This is supposed to be about assembling the best there's ever been in sport in one place,” VANOC CEO John Furlong said.
