James Newell Osterberg Jr., the crowd-walking "Godfather of Punk" known to all as Iggy Pop, is, against heavy odds, 61 years old. A dynamic performer prone to self-harm on stage and off, he didn't seem like a guy built to last. But with his rude-rocking Stooges reunited, the unconventional Pop is far from done. Last year saw the release of The Weirdness, the first Stooges studio album since 1973's Raw Power.
