Icon worship, anyone? The Material Girl is turning 50
It's August, 2008, and the gaze of the world turns to . . . well, Madonna, of course. Doesn't it always?The pop icon is turning 50 this month and the Star! TV channel is celebrating with a week's worth of programming starting with one of its occasional video countdowns, in this case Madonna's Top 30: Videos (Star!, tonight at 8:30, with part two airing tomorrow at the same time).
