Absolute specializes in computer theft recovery and data protection and tracking.
“The global proliferation of laptops, smartphones and other mobile devices has propelled the need for data protection and theft recovery services for all types of users,” chief executive John Livingston said in a release.
“Against the backdrop of an expanding market opportunity, we believe that our leadership position in multiple vertical markets will continue to drive growth and record performance.”
He noted that the company expects to see increased interest in its data protection and theft deterrence products which at this point represent “only a small percentage of sales... but are quick to deploy and manage.”
