It's a mosh pit of fiction and reality
The first time I innocently stumbled across The Hills (MTV, tonight, 10 p.m.; CTV, tomorrow, 8:30 p.m.), I didn't understand what I was watching. Who were these limp and graceless actresses? Who wrote this clunky and repetitive dialogue? It was only when I tried to discover the cast members' names on the MTV website that it gradually dawned on me that Lauren, Heidi, Whitney and Audrina were real people.
