			EDMONTON &#151; Sherritt International Corp. is delaying its plan to build a $3.3-billion coal gasification project near Edmonton due to uncertainty over carbon dioxide regulations and the products the plant could make.

 Sherritt's original plan was to file its environmental impact assessment on the proposal this year and start construction next year, with production to begin in 2012.
