  1. Derek Holtom from Swan River, Canada writes: i'm still freezing. what a cold day. still, props to Riderand Bomber fans for having a great time in crappy weather. a win is a win. and we're (we being the Riders) 7-2
  2. Richard Keho from Canada writes: So I guess Bishop was the better QB in Hog Town. Just the coaching staff couldn't figure that one out. The Riders did the right thing getting rid of Joseph while he was supposedly hot. Most people forgot how good the Rider's "D" was last year. One more thing. Once they start getting most guys back from injuries watch out. They've lost two games with about 18 starters or top guys injured. That's not bad.
  3. R Miller from Halifax, Canada writes: Derek Holton from Swan River, Canada:

Yeah, but it's a dry cold...

    Go Riders !

    Cheers
  4. Ziad Fazel from Calgary, Canada writes: Good time for the Riders to make a QB change.

One more tune-up against Winnipeg, and then it is 5 tough games with BC twice, Montreal, and Calgary twice. If the Rider offence is in tune with Bishop by then, we may not see the musical chair at the Top of the West I expect this fall.

Maybe there is a chance for Crandell in Winnipeg. Glenn is having another "something not quite right" season.
  5. J Law from Canada writes: R Miller from Halifax, Canada

Snow in the mountains, below freezing just a bit northwest of Edmonton and raining off and on so not as dry as you think this time.

But both the teams are used to it, I am not sure about some of their players though.
  6. R Miller from Halifax, Canada writes: J Law from Canada:

Are you fricking kidding me ? Snow in August out West today ?

Wonder why the G&M wasn't all over that story ?

I always chuckle on the few winter days when it goes below minus 10 celsius in Halifax and people start complaining about the cold...

Some Nova Scotians have no idea what "cold" really means.

    Cheers
  7. Randy Farrell from Canada writes: R. Miller: As far as comfort is concerned minus 10 celsius in Halifax is the equivalent of minus 20C in Regina.
  8. EJ Ravensbud from Canada writes: Millertime, if Halifax had snow in August the citizens would be "flopping" all over the place, thinking that hockey season had started.
  9. Captain Ontario from Canada writes: Word is that Bishop is unhappy being stuck there and wants a trade and won't report next year.
  10. Jeff Smyth from Canada writes: But what about Mats Sundin?
  11. wayne powers from saskatoon, writes: Do you know how many players landed in Regina and the first thought is to go see the GM and ask for a trade. But after a few weeks out here it starts to grow on you and before you know it 3 or 4 years have gone by and it feels like home.
Look Bishop is 32 he has what, 5 years tops left to play and where would he go, Wienerpeg, oh that's a big step up from Regina isn't it. The guy will fit in quickly and could guide this team back to the Grey Cup. So give him a couple weeks to learn the system and players, and you will see him appreciating where he is.
  12. Captain Ontario from Canada writes: Bishop will demand a trade once he realises he's in Regina and not the word starting with V.
  13. Derek Holtom from Swan River, Canada writes: Captain Ontario from Canada writes: Word is that Bishop is unhappy being stuck there and wants a trade and won't report next year.

Captain coward, feel free to provide us with a link to your BS rumour
then try and man up and use your real name.
  14. Glenn F from Canada writes: It's hard to win when Winnipeg is playing against two teams: the Riders, and the Refs.
  15. Hap Stokes from Canada writes: Derek Holtom from Swan River, Canada writes: Captain Ontario from Canada writes: Word is that Bishop is unhappy being stuck there and wants a trade and won't report next year.

Mr Holtom; I'm Captain Ontario's secretary, he's unavailable right now because he's in a conference with the Prime Minister and the Cabinet.

Does this concern the up-coming election Mr Holtom?

Did you SEE the Esks DESTROY the cowgirls!!!

It's all over... the DYNASTY is BACK!!!!
  17. Captain Ontario from Canada writes: Put the report on my desk, Hap. Don't take Holton too seriously, as he's worrying about his local rag that's about to go under.

hey captain coward. No idea what you have against Saskatchewan. And no idea why you're not man (or woman) enough to use your real name.
don't worry about me or the paper I work at. the wall of awards we win, including a national award I recently picked up in TO, makes me think we're doing just fine.
