Loonie rebounds from one-year low

The loonie rebounded slightly from a one-year low against the U.S. dollar Wednesday after the Bank of Canada decided to leave its benchmark lending rate unchanged at 3 per cent and indicated it thinks that the domestic economy is performing strongly. Canada's currency climbed as high as 94.11 cents (U.S.), up .035 cents from Tuesday, after the central bank's announcement at 9 a.m. (ET). Earlier the loonie had fallen as far as 92.79 cents.
