1. Kev Orng from Canada writes: $20 for Uno??

wow.

In fact, everyone of these seems awfully pricey for what they do, and especially when compared with equivalent iPhone apps. The most expensive drink mixing guide on the iPhone app store is $4
2. BC Cactus from Canada writes: Wow! Even the cheapest Pay&Talk phone has a Calculator, Alarm Clock, Scheduler, Notepad, EZ Tip Calculator, World clock, ...
FREE
3. Dwight Moore from San Jose, United States writes: We are delighted that you chose to include Cellfire in your list of top applications. Not only does the service save people money, it is offered free by Cellfire. As with all applications of its kind standard carrier charges may apply. While our service is not yet available in Canada we look forward to the day that it is. One can learn more at http://www.cellfire.com.
4. John Omerta from toronto, Canada writes: Wow a story about mobile platforms and you don't even mention blackberry. What planet are you on?
5. John H from Canada writes: Hey Dwight,

If one can't use it here in Canada, why would you give it a plug, even if you are proud of your company? A little silly....
6. SM4RTR TH3N U from Whinesor, Canada writes: no wonder the palm platform failed, you could get most of those apps for free
7. Blaque Jacque Shallaque from Canada writes: I've been using Windows Mobile since 2004. Far and away the most useful applications on this platform are iLauncher (by SBSH) and Resco Explorer.

iLauncher is a Swiss Army type of utility which mostly is supposed to be a Today screen organizer, but has so many different functions and is so customizable that running my device without it seems impossible now.

Resco Explorer is a file and directory management utility which again has a bazillion little features that blow away the pathetic File Explorer provided by Microsoft.

There are a number of others which seem infinitely more useful than the very unrepresentative list provided in the article.
8. Omnibot 2000 from Toronto, Canada writes: Wow, shouldn't this article be preceded by one of those little disclaimers that say "the following is a paid advertisement"?
