Perpetual Beta
Google is a work in progress, and always will be. The Mountain View, Calif., company exists in a state of perpetual beta, and it's a corporate philosophy that has helped drive the company's seemingly boundless innovation.
In technology parlance, the “beta” tag is applied to software that is launched on a trial basis to work out any kinks before the official version is released.
