Bombardier readies for 'credible' competition

MONTREAL — Bombardier Inc., credited with creating the market for regional jets in the 1990s, is heading into uncharted skies as it faces unprecedented competition from a bevy of new competitors, including one backed by Boeing Co. Upstart rival Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd.
