  1. Golden Phoenix from Ottawa, Canada writes: "The U.S. mortgage delinquency rate is 6.41 per cent." That boggles the mind. That means 1 in every 15 is in trouble.
  2. Tim Burns from Canada writes: Good point "Golden Phoenix from Ottawa" - I guess the only silver lining is that many of the mortgages in California arnt for primary residences, but for rental properties purchased on speculation and leverage. i.e. otherwise if 1 in 15 families were experiencing mortgage delinquency, we would all be buying gold bars.
