Larry Hill from Canada writes: Unfortunately this does not prove much. This game is really the closest thing to a walk over that the Lions will get all season.
Still a lot of problems and a win over Hamilton is does not prove that everything is back on track.- Posted 07/09/08 at 2:22 AM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Steve Church from Canada writes: If you want to win in the CFL, start with the o-line (Ctr, Left-tackle). It gets more obvious by the season, and more comments by the game. In the contest of dawgs v hawgs today, the Lions ate the Cats. I was doing some steamboats in the middle quarters and Lions had almost two extra counts. By the 4th the Cats were ready for the Humane Society. Forget the milkncookies by TSN - it is personnel, and it is the Cats o-line that's holding up the show.

Patricia Timms from Canada writes: Congrats Leos
Only one win out of 2nd place already after such a terrible start in 2008. Well as we always said back on the farm about about cream in the milk bucket.
Feel just terrible for those magnigicent Hamiliton fans. Great fans like those Ti-Cats devotees deserve so much better than they are getting now. Besides it is not good for any league (NHL take note) to allow itself to become 'loop sided' because it uses geography as an excuse for such disparity.
Good luck today Gophers, I'll be pull'en fer ya!

Buy him out or trade him Hammie, the experiment is a failure. He'll go to Montreal and revive his career and you will get a QB?- Posted 07/09/08 at 11:33 AM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment

Ziad Fazel from Calgary, Canada writes: Patricia, you are so right about the Ticats fans. They need a competitive team before they die of heartache.
Calgary has rebounded from the former owner, and Edmonton has probably made enough changes to rebound from 2 seasons out of the playoffs. Hamilton seems to have an owner with heart and money, so whatever else needs to change better take place over the next year.
See my comments on the Alouettes/Argos game. It is bad enough when the West has 5 teams to the East's 4 teams. But there is no hope for balance when Winnipeg has an off season and the league looks more like 5-2.- Posted 07/09/08 at 6:23 PM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment
