Final Regina escapee arrested after standoff
After a four-hour standoff Tuesday night, RCMP arrested the sixth and final member of a group that dug its way out of a Regina jail last month.
Ryan John Agecoutay, 25, was arrested around 7:20 p.m. on Star Blanket First Nation, northeast of Regina, RCMP said.
Police surrounded a home on the reserve at 3:30 p.m. Mr. Agecoutay was inside. A standoff ensued, RCMP said. Two women left the home peacefully just before 6 p.m. Around 6:35 p.
