New releases -- the fall deluge begins
There are roughly 85 new video games heading to stores and network servers this week. The deluge begins around the same time each year – on the cusp of the holiday buying season, when the sun starts disappearing before the dinner dishes are done – and doesn't let up until the middle of November.
Judging by the list of scheduled launches, this particular season for games will be dominated by sequels.
