There's a lineup to get on the new Do Not Call List, which is supposed to free us forever from those ubiquitous it's-the-supper-hour-so-it-must-be-the-perfect-time-to-disturb-you telemarketers.
Half of the calls I get in my home office during the day are also from telemarketers, which has made it increasingly difficult to maintain even a modicum of civility in getting off the phone quickly so that I don't lose concentration.
