The election diet

Insiders call it the election diet.
As party candidates pound the pavement to fight for a seat in Parliament, running hectic, sometimes 12-hour days with little or no time to eat, 10 to 20 pounds can magically slip away.
It doesn't hurt that they're often running on caffeine and adrenalin.
Michael Munday, Green candidate for Halifax West, might be the biggest loser with 20 pounds stripped off his frame in the past few months.
