McCain tones down harsh Republican rhetoric
WASHINGTON John McCain has decided to dial it down.
Last week featured Republican rallies so boisterous and foul-tempered that reporters began covering the interjections – “Terrorist!” “Treason!” “Off with his head!” – of people in the crowd.
