In the 1980s and 1990s, I was a well-known psychic in Chicago. I also helped some airlines determine the causes of crashes. In the mid 1990s I stepped back from the media, but continued to help people without being hindered by the notoriety I received during the Harmonic Convergence. But now it is time to reach out and help once more. I feel strongly that Osama bin Laden is in or will soon be in Maruf in southeast Afghanistan. I also feel very strongly that evil people have infiltrated the Vatican and are very close to the Pope. They plan to attack the Vatican very soon and the Pope will be killed, along with many other church officials. It is imperative that this be passed on to the right officials that will do something about it.

Internationalism has really left us with few ways to effectively defend ourselves, short of returning all immigrants to wherever they came from originally. As thousands of innocent people continue to die for the cause of another pointless religion, as most other wars have been fought, I wonder why we simply don't drop some relatively safe neutron weapons on a few heads. A personal look at God may give them a different outlook.

Although the tragedy brought us all kinds of horrible and unforgettable memories, I think that there is probably a brighter side aside from the darkness and evil. The positive impact of terrorism on Canada is that this tragedy has brought Canadians together and made them think a little more about the priorities in their lives.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair's speech to the party faithful in Brighton was brilliant. He articulated the free world's position beautifully. Full credit for CBC radio for playing it, or at least parts of it. I hope political speechmakers everywhere sat up and took notice.

It is interesting to read comments such as those from J. Suzette (letter -Oct. 2), proclaiming the "hope for more attacks" such as the one on Sept. 11, or the letter from C. Stevens (Oct. 2), who proclaimed how wonderful it felt to burn an American flag. The reason you have the freedom to write these things is because the United States has routinely stood up for the protection of the freedom of speech, press and religion. How hypocritical of these people to wish ill upon the nation that is trying to protect the freedom to say and do such things.
