A civilian man runs away from a BM21 Northern Alliance multiple rocket launching system, November 12, 2001, not far from the town of Bagram, some 25 kilometers north from Kabul as they shell Taliban positions. Earlier U.S. military planes hit targets on the southern portion of the front line near Bagram airport and Karabagh.
