Walker fourth at junior luge Add to ...

Tristan Walker of Calgary just missed the podium at a junior luge event Saturday, settling for fourth place at the second World Cup of the season.

Walker had a two-run time of 1 minute 27.113 seconds in the youth A men's division. Germany's Julian Von Schleinitz was first in 1:26.729. Walker, 16, won a silver medal at last weekend's season opener.

Canada placed two sleds in the top 15 in the women's junior event Saturday. Calgary's Arianee Jones was 10th in 1:28.443 while Denae Delcourt, also of Calgary, was 12th in 1:28.985.

Germany's Madeleine Teuber won gold in front of her hometown crowd with a time of 1:26.174.
