Khari Jones is retiring a Winnipeg Blue Bomber.
The veteran quarterback signed a contract with the club today then immediately called it quits during a news conference in Winnipeg.
Jones spent five seasons with the Blue Bombers, from 2000 to 2004.
In 2001 he was named the CFL's Outstanding Player and is one of only three quarterbacks in league history to throw for more than 40 touchdowns in one season.
Jones is second on the franchise's all-time passing yardage list to Dieter Brock and holds the club's single-season records for yards and touchdowns.
The Bombers traded Jones to Calgary in September 2004 and he also played for Hamilton and Edmonton.
