The Toronto Blue Jays claimed catcher Bobby Wilson off waivers from the Los Angeles Angels on Monday.

The 29-year-old posted a .277 on-base percentage and threw out 25 per cent of would be base stealers.

To make room on the Jays’ 40-man roster, right-handed pitcher Chad Beck was designated for assignment.
