The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled Moises Sierra from Triple-A Las Vegas to give them added depth in the outfield following the earlier trades of Travis Snider and Eric Thames.

The 23-year-old was expected to join the Blue Jays in Seattle in time for their second game against the Mariners on Tuesday night.

The Blue Jays have also optioned relievers Evan Crawford and Joel Carreno to Triple-A.

Sierra has appeared in 100 games for Las Vegas this season, posting a .289 average with a team-leading 17 home runs and 63 RBI.
