After doing nothing but sitting through five games with the Toronto Blue Jays, relief pitcher Esmil Rogers has been sent back to the minors.

Rogers was the odd man out on Sunday after the American League club activated outfielder Nolan Reimold from the disabled list.

Reimold will be in uniform for Sunday’s game here against the New York Yankees but is not in the starting lineup.
