Jays head to Texas to take on struggling Rangers Add to ...

The Toronto Blue Jays will visit Arlington for a three-game series, starting Friday against the Texas Rangers.

PROBABLE PITCHERS

May 25 – Toronto RHP Brandon Morrow (5-2, 2.63 ERA) vs. Texas LHP Derek Holland (3-3, 4.27); May 26 – Toronto RHP Henderson Alvarez (3-4, 3.30) vs. Texas RHP Colby Lewis (4-3, 3.30); May 27 – Toronto RHP Kyle Drabek (4-4, 3.27) vs. Texas RHP Yu Darvish (6-2, 3.05)

NEED TO KNOW

The Rangers have struggled of late, losing six of their past 10 games, but their lead atop the American League West Division remains fairly comfortable for this time of year. Earlier this season, the Blue Jays took two of three from Texas at Rogers Centre, but the Rangers were without Josh Hamilton (back) and Adrian Beltre (hamstring), who didn’t start two of the games. Both big bats will be in the lineup this time around.
