Toronto Raptors power forward Reggie Evans is expected to miss the remainder of the NBA preseason with a sprained left foot.

Evans suffered the injury during the second quarter of Wednesday's 106-90 loss to the Boston Celtics. No timetable is set for his return, putting in doubt his status for the Raptors' season opener Oct. 28 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The six-foot-eight forward, who was acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers in the off-season, averaged 7.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 16.8 minutes in five pre-season games.
