SMU to interview Larry Brown: report Add to ...

Southern Methodist University will interview Hall of Fame coach Larry Brown for the Mustang’s coaching vacancy sports broadcaster ESPN is reporting.

Marquette assistant Tony Benford and Indiana assistant Steve McClain have already been interviewed for the position according to basketball insiders.

Brown last coached with the Charlotte Bobcats in 2010, his seventh NBA coaching job since winning the 1988 men’s NCAA championship with Kansas.
