Scott Milanovich expects to remain the head coach of the Toronto Argonauts.

Speculation has swirled the last two months regarding Milanovich's future with the Argos amid reports he'd become frustrated with the franchise's nomadic existence prior to moving into its new permanent practice facility at Downsview Park.

But in his final meeting Sunday with reporters after the Argos missed the CFL playoffs, Milanovich said he's under contract for another year and he plans to be back with the franchise in 2015.

Milanovich has spent the past three seasons with Toronto, leading the club to a Grey Cup victory in 2012.

But the Argos posted an 8-10 record to finish third in the East Division and out of the CFL playoffs.

The B.C. Lions (9-9) were fourth in the West Division but will assume the No. 3 playoff seed in the East after posting a better record than Toronto.

The Lions will visit the Montreal Alouettes (9-9) in the East Division semifinal Sunday, with the winner facing the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (9-9) in the conference final Nov. 23.
